About Me

Born and raised in Southern California, I studied art and design in Chicago before beginning my career in NYC.

My career spans several industries: fine art, fashion/costume, freelance design, retail/customer experience, and corporate product development and brand operations. Each taught me to understand people, constraints, systems, and different ways of working.

Rather than treating each experience as separate, I find these experiences work cross-functionally.

I am an investigative and empathetic problem solver.
I question the first explanation, look for what's missing, and seek to understand how and why something works before looking for a solution.

I put this into action by showing up, communicating, sharing what I know with the intention to leave people and situations better than I found them.

I'm interested in how people interact with objects, information, and environments; which expands beyond one medium towards broader systems that shape experiences.

My breadth allows me to approach problems both logically and empathetically, with a sense of responsibility toward the people I’m solving problems for. My creativity may stem from the arts, but permeates how I think and my desire to make an impact on people’s experience through a product, a service, or simply an organizational system.
